    Hi Cappy

Further to my earlier PM on the DX6i, I'm using an Orange Rx from Hobby King. I use them on all my models (EDFs, warbirds and gliders) and never had a glitch or range issue (so far). I'm about to add a satellite receiver for added insurance at longer ranges during FPV flights and Im intending to do some real (non flying) ground to air range checks with it over the next week or so to confirm just what range I can rely on with it.
DJI F450 with DJI Naza Controller & GPS.
GoPro HD Hero 1 plus Sony 1/3" Super HAD CCD.
Foxtech 5.8GHz 200mW video system and Goggles.
    TX Antenna: RHCP Cloverleaf.
    RX Antenna: RHCP Skew-Planar + 8dB Patch.
    Eagle Tree EagleEyes Diversity Receiver.
    Apache OSD with GPS.
9X RC with FrSky Telemetry module.

The only experience I have is with the Spektrum AR8000 that came with my DX8i. So far, it has worked great, though I've only flown line of site and within a 1/4 mile radius. My DX8i also came with the telemetry module, and it has never recorded a hold or fade while in use.

There are several people that are very happy with the Orange Rx. I bought one and tried to set it up on my WKM and my Naza. I was not successful with either controller. While expensive, I am a fan of the AR8000. I have it on my WKM and my Trex 550 with DJI WKH. I am trying an R921 on my DJI F550 Hexa. I am reserving judgement right now. I may put one of my AR6115's on. With the Naza a 6ch receiver will give you everything you want with the exception of the ability to adjust the gains from your receiver and to control the tilt on a camera gimbal. If you have a AR6xxx I would try it before you went out and bought something else.

I am using my DX6i with an F450 naza and I opted for the AR6200, I am only a beginner but it seems fine to me and with the satellite RX it gives me the confidence and satisfaction it should be ok for further than I care to fly.
When I die I hope my wife doesnt sell all my gear for what I told her it cost !

I just wanted to check with the group. I too am a beginner and am just starting to build my DJI F450 Naza and wondered if the DX6i Transmitter and the Spektrum Ar600 6-Channel Sport DSMX Receiver will work for my rig. I ordered the two on amazon and don't want to risk running them if there is any issues with the failsafe etc. Any words of wisdom?

Im running mine right now with a dx6i and ar600, works great. I've also run it with the orangeRX. Using just acro mode no changes except for end points for the mode switch. Tried negative expo on rudder to try and speed up piro's but no difference that I could see. Fingers crossed my 11x will be here tomorrow lol
